Well, I'm not blind but I really want to go into a field of programming accessibility for devices, computers and applications. I have a lot of blind friends and they say I got a real knack for accessible software design, and I truly enjoy it (it's really fun for me!). My brother mentioned that companies are definitely looking for someone in this field but he also mentioned a certification for compliance with ADA is required. I was wondering what kind of certification would be applicable here so I could further my progress towards my eventual career. I'm also working with counselors to go towards this direction.
In my spare time I work towards developing accessible video game ports of popular games.
